Cloud's New Window Perch

Cloud loves looking out  the window on his new perch, espcially when there are other small birds outside in the tree that he can whistle with! Now if a big bird flies by...that's a different story!

• Plastic Practice Golf Ball

      I had fun making this toy and I plan on making more budgie toys in the near future! Cloud loves chewing on the hemp and trying to untie the knots to get the beads loose. He's such a character!

Mama's Boy

     I wish the picture quality was better, but what can I say Apple has some improvements to make on the iphone's front facing camera. I can't exactly take pics of myself with my Cannon T2i DSLR camera, so these will have to do for now. Also a reason most of Cloud's pics are with daddy, because I'm always behind the camera! 

My New 5-level Playgym!

     So Cloud got a little spoiled for his first Christmas! I got him this playygym from: http://www.birdscomfort.com/bird_playgym.html. It was a little pricy and took some assembly, but it was well worth it! Cloud LOVES his gym and spends a lot of his time on it. The toys are not included, I got some of them from Petsmart and Petco, and others I made myself. This gym is quite large so it took Cloud awhile to get use to the size, but once he warmed up to it he never wanted to leave!

My Lovely Abode

     This is Cloud's house 24(l)x20(w)x24(h). I like to switch around the toys every month or so for variety, but I can never take our his four hanging balls or he'd have a heart attack! I added the perch on top and he really likes flying to it and chewing off the sand.

Soccer Anyone!

     Cloud loves to throw around these lattice balls! He has four colors: yellow, blue, pink and purple and he can't seem to get enough of them. If you throw them he'll go and chase them and then defend them if you try to pick them up. You can find these balls in the cat toy section at the pet store, but I think they should be with the bird toys! He seems to get a little nervous on camera, but maybe I'll get a better video of him playing "soccer" later. 

Cloud Playing the Pegboard Game

     I found out that Cloud loves the Pegboard Game from Cracker Barrel! I think he's pretty good, he even put one of the pegs back in the hole after the camera was off!

Parakeet Popcorn!

Cloud loved his popcorn treat that I got him from the pet store! I put the popcorn inside his ferris wheel toy to draw his attention...and it worked :)
